The Celtic Crusaders are a rugby league club based in Bridgend, Wales, United Kingdom. They joined the LHF Healthplan National League Two in 2006. They play their home games at Brewery Field in Bridgend though they have taken games to other parts of South Wales. They played against Brisbane Broncos in the Bulmers Original Cider Challenge at the Brewery Field on Thursday 15 February 2007, losing with a respectable scoreline of 6-32.

Harlequins Rugby League is a professional rugby league club in London that plays in the Super League. London has one other professional team, the London Skolars, and a number of amateur teams, although the sport as a whole is predominantly played in northern England. The team completed its first season as Harlequins RL with 7th place in Super League XI. Although finishing strongly to avoid relegation, the run of 4 consecutive home defeats at the start of the season proved difficult to overcome. Super League XII in 2007 saw the team finishing 9th falling short of contention for a playoff spot.
