Show Summary

From FOX, the creators of American Idol and the producers of American Bandstand and The American Music Awards comes So You Think You Can Dance. In its sophomore season, this show is offering the winner a 1 (one) year contract for Celine Dion's Vegas show, a brand new car and $100K cash. Contestants… More perform a particular style of dance each week with a partner. The audience votes on their favorite couple leaving the 3 couples with the least votes up for elimination. After each dancer performs a solo of their choice for the judges, one male and one female contestant are up for elimination.

Auditions for Season 7 kick off in Dallas, TX on March 10, 2010 and continue on to Nashville, Chicago, and Miami. The premiere aired on May 27, 2010. Your waiting is over! Make sure, you watch the real excitement of your favorite show!

The competition is more intense this time around, as there are only 10 slots for the show instead of the previous 20. The dancers who are good – and lucky – enough to make it onto the show will not be partnered with each other, as has been the case for the past six seasons. They will be dancing with whom the show is calling the So You Think You Can Dance All Stars – dancers who were on the show until at least the Top 8 episodes of previous seasons. Those all-stars include: Twitch, Kathryn, Allison, Anya, Pasha, Lauren, Neil, Dominic, Comfort, Courtney, Mark, and Ade.

Though the exact format for the show has not been ironed out, all-stars from previous seasons of So You Think You Can Dance will be returning as partners for Season 7's Top Ten dancers, much like on Dancing With the Stars. This will enable the show to vote out one competitor each week, instead of two, and may result in fairer match-ups, as no dancer will run the risk of being brought down by an untalented or unpopular partner. Instead, they will draw an all-star's name out of a hat and attempt to master the all-star's style.
